Racetrack overview

What's the first thing an engineer does when he buys new devices? Open 'em up! We're no different; we just received the remote controlled FPV cars, they're made to be controlled using one of those traditional ordinairy human interface RC-car controllers. I look away for a few seconds and oh look there's a USB interface on it. And its fully automatic. Naughty Erik and Arjen.


The ordered goods are starting to come in so it's getting kind of hectic now, the hours seem like minutes and we try to manage having at least 1249234 projects going on per person at all times;

After exploring our sowing skills we produced the first glove prototype.

Project description

The project consists of two remote controlled race cars, equipped with a camera.
The controls of the car will consist of a helmet and a glove, in the helmet the video feed of the car's onboard camera will be projected.
The driver has to make a specific noise in order to accelerate the car, steering will be done using either the glove (with a imaginary joystick) or head movement.
